The Hampton Lucy Educational Trust, (HLET) is an educational charity providing grants to young people, under 25 years of age, who live in the Parishes of Hampton Lucy, Charlecote, Wasperton and Alveston. (Please see Eligibility for more information).
The young person may be (or planning to be) at school, in further or higher education or attending other training programmes. The Trustees consider applications very carefully and, as well as assisting individuals in meeting educational costs, make grants to the local schools in the preferred area of benefit.
The Trustees would like to hear from young people and from parents who might be in financial need.
Provided an applicant meets the relevant criteria, the Trustees may award a grant, or a series of grants, towards the provision of education, training and targeted tuition. In addition grants can be made for equipment and/or instruments to promote music, art, theatre, dance and sport. Likewise assistance might be given towards club fees and uniforms, IT and books, as well as help towards college or university fees.
Bursaries are available to those attending University or any other seat of Higher Education for part or all of the period of their study.
An Application Form can be downloaded from the “Apply Now” page and other enquiries made from the “Contact Us” page or by post to:
